Tom Simmons of Front Range attended the first day of the Traditional Building Conference in Denver on 5 October. Held at historic St. Cajetan's Church on the Auraria Campus, the conference featured presenters from around the nation and the local area. Topics included Infill Construction in Historic Settings, Sympathetic Additions to Historic and Existing Buildings, and National Heritage Areas.

The Colorado State Register Review Board recommended listing the Greeley Ice and Storage Company building in the State Register of Historic Properties on 18 September 2015. The History Colorado Board of Directors approved the listing the following week. The 1930/1939 two- and three-story industrial is significant for its history and architecture.
