National Park System Advisory Board Recommends Approval of Denver Civic Center and Colorado River Relocation Center as NHLs

In May 2012, the National Park System Advisory Board favorably acted on the Denver Civic Center and Colorado River Relocation Center (Poston) NHL nominations. The nominations now await final action from Secretary of the Interior Ken Salazar. If approved, the 33-acre City Beautiful-era Denver Civic Center will become the City and County of Denver's first National Historic Landmark.
